Question 1. What is the minimum qualification and marks for eligibility into the B.Ed course?
Ans. The eligibility for B.Ed Course is a minimum of 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities. Eligibility for candidates having a degree in Technology is 60 % marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Question 2. What is the procedure for getting admission?
Ans: The candidates seeking admission into the B.Ed course need to appear in the Entrance Test conducted by Gauhati University generally in the month of July every year. After the declaration of the result of the same examination, the candidates may seek admission to the college.

Question 3. What is the minimum % of marks to pass Entrance Test Conducted by the University?
Ans: There is a cutoff mark to pass the Entrance Examination. Every candidate will get a score in the Entrance Examination. This score will decide his/her merit in the merit list for admission.

Question 4. Can any candidate either Pre Service or In-service get admission without appearing in the Entrance Test Conducted by the University?
Ans: No. Candidates must appear in the Entrance Test conducted by the university to get admission to the B.Ed course.

Ans: The duration of the B.Ed Course is Two Years.

Question 6. Does the college offer a B.Ed course in Distance mode?
Ans: No. The college does not offer any B.Ed course in distance mode.

Question 7. Is the college recognized by NCTE or affiliated with any University?
Ans: Yes. The college is recognized by NCTE and affiliated with Gauhati University.
