Question 1. What is the minimum qualification and marks for the eligibility in to the B.Ed course ?

Ans. The eligibilty for B.Ed Course is minimum 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities. Eligibilty for candidates having degree in Technology is 60 % marks. There is relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Question 2.  What is the procedure for getting admission ?

Ans: The candidates seeking admission into the B.Ed course need to appear in the Entrance Test conducted by Gauhati University generally in the month of July every year. After declaration of the result of the same examination, the candiadtes may seek admission in the college.

Question 3. What is the minimum % of marks to pass Entrance Test Conducted by the University ?

Ans. There is no cot off mark to pass Entrace Examination. Every candidate will get a score in the Entrance Examination. This score along with his academic score will decide his/her merit in the merit list for admission.


Question 4. Can any candidate either Pre Service or In service get admission without appearing the Entrance Test Conducted by the University ?

Ans. No. Candidates must appear in the Entrance Test conducted by the university to get admission in to B.Ed course.

Question No. 5.  What is the duration of the B.Ed Course ?

Ans:  The duration of  the B.Ed Course is Two Year.

Question 6. Does the college offer  B.Ed course in Distance mode ?

Ans:  No The college does not offer any B.Ed course in distance mode.

Question 7.  Is the college recognised by NCTE or affiliated to any University ?

Ans:  Yes. The college is recognised by NCTE and affiliated to Gauhati University.
